Christopher Ward C60 Trident Auto & GMT Dive Watches

This is a really nice looking dive watch from Christopher Ward , I am glad that they released it (well, about to release it). The design of the C60 Trident isn't exactly their creation entirely, but has a lot borrowed from fellow British watch... You can get the three hand automatic (C60 Trident Auto) with a Swiss ETA 2824 movement, and there is also a GMT model (C60 Trident GMT) with a Swiss ETA 2893 movement. The watch is available on two strap options (leather or rubber), and a metal bracelet (another homage to the Supermarine 500 watch)....

I have owned several watches with this type of finish and most of the time I find it too dull and usually wind up polishing them with a dap of Polywatch in order to soften / brighten them up. The closest The entire case, except the center / decorated disc at the center of the back is bead blasted. There is the original diver, a chronograph and a GMT, which is the subject of this review. Though the path was difficult and filled with obstacles, in the end congratulations are in order....

The Trieste was a Swiss-designed, Italian-built deep-diving research bathyscaphe (“deep boat”) which Walsh, along with Jacques Piccard, piloted to a depth of about 10,911 metres in the deepest known part of the ocean on Earth, the Challenger Deep... a copy of the Rolex booklet celebrating the 25th anniversary of the deep dive, 1985. The perfect watch to go with Sir Edmund Hillary’s Rolex Explorer. Subsequent to the dive, Rolex gifted Lt. Walsh with the GMT- Master. 6542, that belonged to Don Walsh, a Lieutenant of the U. S. Navy and Officer-in-Charge of the Navy’s famed bathyscaphe Trieste.
